I want to be able to live a deep life where I am working hard, moving forward towards meaningful goals, but also going to bed early, gyming hard, growing spiritually and maintaining deep friendships.
I love the following quote by Cal Newport:
No one hour or day is critical
The definition of living slowly is that no one hour or day is critical.

1. Be Brutal about what You Say Yes to
- What you put your time to is who you are.
- Think deeply about what your tasks are.
- Only do things which bring meaning and joy to your life.
- Dream big.
2. Track Your Tasks
Use the role based task boards to manage your tasks.
- Every task within the next month should be noted.
- Tasks that will impact others should have a priority of 1.
3. Have a Weekly Flow
- Create deep work slots in the week for major areas of your life (there should always be at least one of each).
- Note: External work should be prioritised first, this is what brings in the bread. Then Internal work can be allocated.
- Use your main google calendar to plan your life (i.e. time blocking)
- Use a separate google calendar to track deliverables in a different colour.
- Setup each week on a Sunday night with Dom.
- Reflect at 5 each day (setup tomorrow, end work mentally), take inventory, reflect in a daily note, move the timeblock for the following day into your little diary AND move the tasks in the little diary into the task tracking boards.
- Finish at 5.30, always.
- Embrace boredom - do not watch youtube during the day. Do not read news articles during the day.
- Embracing time blocking. Let planning and doing what I say I want to do be my priority.
- Always work hard
- Cal Newport say he is always writing an academic paper.
- Always be setting a test
- Always be writing a blog
- Always be studying
