"Many years ago, my friends child was growing up and he LOVED birds, he could not get enough of them. Every time a bird was flying in the sky he was enamoured and couldn't look away. He would point at them the whole time and call them 'Dragies' which is dragons in Afrikaans. But, as he got older, he learnt the proper name for them was 'voels' or birds. As soon as he could name them, the mystery then fell away. Now he knew what they were."
