I have four customers in the IT sphere - management, teachers, parents, students (my focus is operational and thus on teachers and management).

  • Making data easily accessible by parents and teachers to enable them to make timeous decisions.
  • Creating IT systems and processes that will outlive management.
  • Have a structured process of storing/accessing school data (especially for teachers).
  • Create complex tools for management to drill down into our schools data to be able to make effective strategic decisions.

Goals

  • Migrate our calendar into the iSAMS calendar (different streams)
  • Make use of the sports module in iSAMS and use push notifications
  • Create a data store of commonly requested information by parents in the parent app
  • Establish a well-organized data store for teachers operational data
  • Establish subject data stores for each subject
  • Create grade-wise analytics for student performance
  • Create assessment quality analysis
  • Revamp/delete the intraweb portal
